Dear Carmel Elementary Pink Tigers,

     I want to thank all of you for participating in the Race for the Cure this year. Unfortunately, we were all personally touched by two very special people who were diagnosed with breast cancer the same week. By showing our support for these wonderful ladies, hopefully, they will know how much they each mean to all of us and that they are not alone as they begin their journeys to recovery.

     Our team raised $7,460.00 this year. We made the "Team Honor Roll" and second place for the school category. This is amazing! We can only hope that someday and future generations will not have to be concerned about breast cancer.

     Next year we will have a new member on our team. Ellery Rose, my second grand daughter, was born shortly after the Race for the Cure on Saturday! 

      Again, I want to thank all of you for being a Carmel Elementary Pink Tiger this year.
